Nine dancers lined up wait at the back of the stage. The public chooses, thanks to an application on their cellphones, the music among a list of 100 songs. It is the most voted song that is played. The course of the evening is thus drawn, the dancers becoming a living jukebox.
Claudia Hägeli’s deconstructed and re-composed T-shirts inspired choreographer Serena Malacco and gave birth to this first collaboration with her company Jukebox. Jukebox premiered on December 1st, 2021 at the MPAA Saint Germain Theater. next performances at l’Avant Scène of Colombe on January 13th and 14th, 2022.
